Two types of dog bone specimens were manufactured with a diameter of 6mm and a calibrated length of 42mm for the tensile specimen following the NF EN ISO 6892 standard and a diameter of 4, 37mm for the fatigue specimen (see. FCL15 specimen in in Fig. 3).

All surface conditions were verified with an ALICONA high-resolution 3D optical surface machine and a ZEISS CALYPSO machine on all parts to be homogeneous and to avoid any breakage related to a surface defect. Pivots and specimens have the same surface topology characteristics. The mean results are presented in Table 3.
