As it can been seen, the algorithm is stable when the mesh size increases. In our analyses the second case, with 28992 BEAM189 elements was chosen. 4. Results The results from our analyses are presented below. At first, the case of Ti 170-450 is presented comparing the analyses of small and large displacement analyses to experimental data.
