2. Theoretical Consideration In this study, a typical pentamodes structure is used, as the one that can be seen in Fig. 1.

A typical mode I crack propagation testing is taken place. A typical testing specimen was considered by the work of (Hedayati et al. (2017)).

The specimen (Fig. 2) is filled with pentamodes all over the volume. Three different cases were tested (Table 1).
