As for SENB test, the lower supports and the upper indenter should be fixed to the grips of the machine, and the specimen should be centrally placed as this will ensure the loading nose is centered exactly and parallel to the crack. The specimen is subjected to a 3-point bending. The supports of the fixture must be controlled by adjusting the span length to the desired length. After the test configuration is set up as shown in Fig. 10, a transverse load is applied on the specimen and a load vs. displacement curve is obtained from the UTM.

6. Results 6.1. Tensile Testing The values of force and displacement of polyester specimen under simple tension test are depicted in a form of a graph as shown in Figure 11.
