The multiphase layer is characterized by the presence of three different phases: a ductile matrix, a lamellar phase and a compact phase dispersed in the matrix, as shown in figure 5. 3.2. Bending behavior Mechanical tests show the influence of coating on the bending behavior of specimen both in terms of strength and residual deformation (figure 6).
