4. Yarn spacing plays an important role to increase the critical buckling load capability of the woven composite plate up to a certain limit, for the present investigation, up to 1.25 mm. After that, the effect is diminished and despite increasing the yarn thickness, almost similar outcomes for the critical buckling loads are achieved. 5. For any given condition, the twill woven plate demonstrates better buckling load capability than the plain woven composite plate.
