stiffness (considering the dispersion both values are similar for 6C+2G and 4C+4G laminates). Finally, the bending strain is lower for full carbon laminates, and this property increases with the number of glass fibre layers. In fact, according to Wonderly et al. (2005), carbon fibres present higher modulus and ultimate stress, while the ultimate strain is lower than the values reported for glass fibres.
