a better flexural behaviour of the all-titanium ones; in fact, a stiffness decrease of 62.5 % was found. However, some interesting conclusions were drawn considering the weight of the structures. In fact, the hybrid specimens were lighter than the all-titanium ones since the titanium skins weighted 2.5 times the CFRP ones. An analytical relation was proposed to calculate the bending stiffness of a hybrid structure presenting the same weight of the all-titanium one, and a stiffness increment of 86.2% was found.
