7. Closure: A Tribute to Raffaello Sanzio in the 500 th Anniversary of his Death This paper dealing with the concept of palimpsestus (closely related to the city of Rome) is a tribute to the painter Raffaello Sanzio in the 500 th Anniversary of his death in Rome. He was born in the city of Urbino on 6 th April 1483 and died in Rome on 6 th April 1520. Fig. 6 shows the masterwork “ Scuola di Atene ”.
