modeling process. The modeling system is used to facilitate the analysis of the behavior that occurs in the design process. There are many result that can be shown from the modeling process like Figs. 6 and 7. By using the modeling process, the optimal design is known faster and cheaper. The calculation is intended to predict the effect of changing parameters on the condition of the components used.

In addition to analyzing the possibility of deformation that occurs in brake shoes, modeling can also be used to determine the value of stress and heat generation generated by the braking process (Bagnoli et al., 2009). In addition to modeling, an experimental procedure is needed to produce comparison data to the numerical test result. This step is necessary because the simulation process will be able to provide an overview of the most optimal designs and can then be made in the form of experiments. Experiments carried out will be more comfortable because they can directly conduct experiments on parameters that significantly affect the performance of each component used.
