3. Analysis preparation This analysis phase is carried out cumulatively using Solidworks. The Finite Element Analysis (FEA) simulation provides specific data. The simulation results provide accurate data in the form of von Mises stress so that the designer can estimate whether the object designed failed or not.
3.1. Dimension of catamaran hull and USV feeder boat
Autonomous unmanned surface vehicle feeder boat uses the hull form of a catamaran hull. The dimensions of the hull are Length = 1000 mm, Width = 400 mm, and Height = 200 mm. To get the dimensions of the hull, we use a reference size patrol boat with type 19M Catamaran Fisheries Patrol Vessel (1C16108), by making a comparison of 1:20. And the overall height of the ship is both heights hull and feed tank with a design to accommodate 8 kg of feed. For more detail, the hull will be displayed in Fig. 2. a b
