Fig. 9. Structural model of the building: the first three models (Patruno et al., 2017).

The building is found to be completely closed on the sides by elements that are not considered in the structural analysis. The first three structural modes of the building are reported in Fig. 9. The results are presented in terms of axial forces in 585 monitored sections. Due to the symmetry of the structure, the pressure field is mirrored to reproduce wind effects also for 135°, 180°, 225°, 270°, and 315°. In particular, dynamic structural analyses are performed by calculating time-histories of the structural response following the procedure proposed. 5. Conclusions A series of reviews on structural damage and wind loads investigations by numerical approach was conducted. The numerical method shows strong capabilities against the experiment. The wind loads analysis by the numerical approach has been discussed with several turbulent models as representative cases. It has been proven that the numerical results are close to the experimental. On the other hand, the numerical approach also has a good performance for structural analysis due to the wind load conditions. All aspects of the investigation have been performed with a good agreement of the results. Therefore, the numerical approach is very useful with cost and time effectiveness.
