Finally, the specimens were completely submerged into three types of aviation grade fluids; Aviation Gasoline (Avgas -100LL) Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF-K50) and an extra high- performance lubricating fluid (OX -38) as shown in Fig. 2; Fig. 3; Fig.4 . The exposure duration was 15, 30 and 45 days at room temperature (~27 0 C). Afterward, they were extracted from the fuels/oils and cleaned with tissue paper.
