4. Conclusions It can be concluded that the data from the binary phase diagrams provide a good starting point for the evaluation of element separation in refractory high-entropy alloys. Mechanical properties of refractory high-entropy alloys can be analysed using the approaches developed for solid solution strengthening but the grain size is also taken into account, Senkov, Miracle et al. (2018). As far as we know the effect of regions with different composition but maintaining the same crystal structure has not be yet entirely explored.
