Compare to regula GMAW process, HPAW joint showed longer . Both optical microscope and electron microscope analysis were carried out to investigate the fracture origin. It showed that the HPAW process provides less stress concentration and less facture origin than GMAW, which guaranteed the fatigue life of weld joint. © 2019 The Autho s. Compare to regular GMAW process, HPAW joint showed longer fatigue life. Both optical microscope and electron microscope analysis were carried out to investigate the fracture origin. It showed that the HPAW process provides less stress concentration and less facture origin than GMAW, which guaranteed the fatigue life of weld joint. Thus new joining method that can weld AHSS at higher efficiency and without pre/post heating is needed. 2452-3216 © 2019 The Authors.
