3. Results and discussion

3.1. Coefficient of kinetic friction

Figure 5 (a) shows the time variations of F and S , which were measured under p = 10 MPa, f = 1Hz and S a ≈ 100 μm . These data were measured at N ≈ 1000 cycles from the beginning of the test. Figure 5 (b) shows the relationship between F and S at N = 1000 cycles, which is characterized by a squared-shaped hysteresis loop. The region where
