behaviour during the fatigue test. For the highest applied equivalent bending strains, shear delaminations within the specimens are found, causing a rapid decrease in dynamic sti ff ness. This behaviour is attributed to the shear stresses near the clamping section caused by the higher sti ff ness of the clamping section.
