Chernov-Lüders band (LB). It should be noted that the propagation region of the Chernov-Lüders front in the material suspends its deformation up to the hardening stage of deformation. The macroscale strain in the material is incremented due to its elongation in the region preceding the strain band at the stage of yield delay [Tretyakova 2018].

Fig. 4. The process of initiation and propagation of the strain band due to the Chernov-Lüders effect during uniaxial tension (a) and during uniaxial tension with additional vibration (b): evolution of the inhomogeneous local strain rate fields at the stage of the yield plateau forming. Results were obtained for the aluminum-magnesium alloy as well. The ‘load-displacement’ diagrams for the flat dog-bone specimen with the width of 12 mm and the length of 120 mm deformed at strain rate of 1.67ꞏ10 -4 s -1 of Al Mg alloy : during uniaxial tension and with additional vibration impact (Fig. 5).
