Since it is customary to estimate the fatigue life of cast iron components by means of the FKM guideline [FKM (2012)], the S-N curve for EN-GJS-400-15 with surface roughness, was calculated and plotted (Fig. 10), using the roughness factor determined according to the guideline (Table 6).
