The work of the auxetic composite developed in this way will exhibit phenomena associated with the negative Poisson’s ratio in HAY. The mechanism which decides of the selection of the elastomeric matrix for HAY was shown in Fig. 10. For the occurrence of these phenomena, it is necessary to select the matrix of the composite and recognize the phenomena associated with the influence of the chemical structure of polymers on their strength properties.
