4. Conclusion
In this paper a high-order theory developed by Reddy has been used to evaluate the influence of hygrothermal loading type and environmental parameters on the behavior of a thick composite plate. The plate is under different types of thermal loading. A hygroscopic loading given by Fick equation is also applied. The results shows an important influence of hygrothermal loading on the plate behavior including the transverse shear stress. Due to the activation phenomena caused by temperature, the stress has been dominated by hygroscopis loading.
