Conclusions

Thus, analyzing the AE signals obtained as a result of uniaxial tension tests of C/C composite material with a ceramic coating, we can do the following conclusions: • AE signals are recorded with the following parameters during the failure of the coating: amplitude range 60 – 80 dB, frequency range 150 – 200 kHz; • damage accumulation process of the ceramic coating occurs throughout the test; • failure of the coating occurs directly in the zone of failure of the C/C sample.
