4. Discussion
As the same coordinate system was used for both the simulation and the measurements, it is possible to compare the obtained results directly. It is noticeable that there is some disagreement, both quantitative and qualitative, between the experimental and numerical results. For example, the numerical results for Y show an increasing displacement between the hub connection and the blade tip. This is likely to be due to not including the gaps between the hub and the blade, as these displacements show a typical progression for embedded situations. Due to the way the model was
