3. Results

The configuration of the cameras estimated by the SfM algorithm is shown in Fig. 4, alongside the point cloud corresponding to the acrylic plate in the reference state. The obtained configuration is consistent with the perspectives of the plate which can be seen in the images in Fig. 2.

The out-of-plane displacement field is shown in Fig. 5. The displacement distribution matches the expected values very closely: it reaches a magnitude of around 8 mm, the imposed displacement, surrounding the region where the load was applied, and approaches zero as the clamped edges are reached.
