Weld chemistry changed to a certain extent with different welding processes and as a result the P cm value varied. With P cm value the proportion of AF varied indicating the significance of P cm value on weld metal properties. With highest P cm value of 0.27 highest level of AF was obtained. Fractographs indicates more energy was absorbed by microvoids coalescence in case of W2 (GTAW) which shows more percentage of ductile failure followed by W4 and W1 shows both type of failure in considerable manner and W3 shows clearly brittle failure at -40° C.
