2.2. Experimental device and protocol
The experimental setup is composed of a camera placed at a distance of 675 mm from the specimen to record images, see Fig.2. The tensile machine is equipped with an Arcan system, in which a the wooden MMCG specimens were mounted. Special lighting illuminated the grid-equipped part.

2.3. Grid method
The grid method is a technique that consists of transferring a grid to a substrate to be analyzed. In this case, we assume that the grid faithfully follows the displacements and the strains of the surface on which it is transferred. The principle of this method has already been explained in a previous papers Odounga et al. (2018). The objective here is
