Author name / StructuralIntegrity Procedia 00 (2018) 000–000 To predict the crack growth direction in a mixed-mode problem in this analysis MTS criterion by Boljanović S, Maksimović S (2011) and Shafique MA Khan, Khraisheh Marwan K. (2000) is used. This criterion is used in combining Msc/Nastran code. Combining finite elements for determination of the stress intensity factors and MTS criterion the computation crack trajectory is obtained, Fig. 3. To validate computation procedure for determination of the crack growth trajectory here is experimental test included. Experimental test caried out using servohydraulic MTS system, Fig. 4. In Figure 5 are shown the complete the crack growth trajectory a) and the right part trajectories b). Figure 5 illustrates good agreement between computation crack growth trajectory with experiments.
