6. Effect of damage and strain rate on shear strength Experimental study of composite failures demonstrates post critical behavior of the material accompanied with a smooth decay of specimen stiffness, which is obviously observed in case of displacement loading. This effect can be considered from the point of view of damage parameters as a dependence of failure condition function on parameters.
