4. Conclusions
The suggested calculation scheme allows researching the effects of interaction of contact cracks and narrow slits within the classic theory of plates. For the pair of interacting defects of varying nature it has been determined that closure of a crack increases the bending moments intensity in the neighbourhoods of the peaks of the crack, and also it produces coefficients of intensity of membrane forces in the tips of the defects in comparison with the case of two slits.
