Table 3 illustrates the values U z at which peeling failure initiated in Al-brass-Al sandwich composite with different t al . By decreasing the values of t al , peeling failure of Al-brass-Al sandwich composite initiated at a large displacement. From the stiffness point of view, the stiffness increased by increasing the values of t al , and subsequently, the displacement at the commencement of peeling decreased.
