4. Conclusions This study comprehensively evaluated the mechanical performance of adhesively bonded SLJ and SJ with AM adherends (PLA, ABS, and PETG), using the 2015 and 752 adhesives under 4PB. The results demonstrate that the failure modes are primarily influenced by L O , adhesive properties, and adherend material. At shorter L O , cohesive failure within the adhesive dominates, while increasing L O shifts the failure to the adherends, especially for ABS and PETG, indicating that the adherend becomes the limiting factor. SLJ P m significantly increases with L O up to 10 mm, after which further gains diminish due to a transition from adhesive to adherend failure. PLA adherends bonded with the 7752 achieved the highest P m , highlighting the advantage of combining a ductile adhesive with a stiff adherend, whereas the 2015 produced strong but more brittle joints. Stiffness was highest for PLA adherends bonded with the 2015, and this adhesive consistently outperformed the 7752 in terms of stiffness due to its higher modulus. The CZM approach showed strong agreement with experimental results, confirming its reliability in predicting and optimizing the behavior of bonded joints between AM adherends with different architectures.
