When conducting the study, it should be taken into account that all elements of the examined specimen are made of structural carbon steel of ordinary quality, grade VSt3ps. This steel is supplied in accordance with the requirements of DSTU 2651:2005. Due to its properties, it is widely used in building structures, as it provides an optimal balance between strength and ductility, as well as the necessary level of reliability and durability of structural components. Based on the study results, recommendations regarding the safe operation of the structure should be provided. 3. Results and discussions To identify the deformation behavior of the welded truss and determine its stress-strain state parameters, the computer modeling experiment methodology was applied using the SolidWorks software package, which algorithmically relies on the finite element method. The experimental load was varied from 0 to the point of structural failure. The deflection of the truss under the load applied to the nodes of the lower chord at the ultimate limit state is shown in Fig. 5.
