conducting experimental research has been described and justified. The deformation characteristics and performance behaviour of modified and unmodified softwood species – pine, larch, and spruce – have been identified. New experimental results have been obtained regarding the strength characteristics of epoxy-modified wood samples in compression along the fibres. It has been established that autoclave modification increased wood strength by a factor of 1.29 for pine, 1.21 for larch, and 1.36 for spruce.
