The analyses clearly highlightmostly linear correlations between the capacities determined in accordance with past regulations and those evaluated according to the current codes further highlighted by the Pearson correlation coefficients between the resisting bending moments ranging between 92% (for 1939 code) and 95% (for 1980 code). In general, design codes based on allowable stress methods yield bending moment capacities that are significantly lower than those calculated according to current technical standards, further stressing the need to consider such an aspect in Level 3 fast assessment. Figure 2 report the distribution of the obtained ratios, with also the values of the average values μ and coefficient of variation C.o.V.
