protective equipment kit ensures inspector safety and comfort in diverse environmental conditions. Furthermore, the 7 Day autonomy logistics kit guarantees operational self-sufficiency, enabling immediate and sustained deployment in potentially compromised areas following a seismic event. The successful prototypal tests of the VISIT methodology on roads, bridges, and tunnels demonstrate its effectiveness in providing pivotal inspection details without requiring traffic restrictions or expensive equipment, and ensuring safety for all involved. Future developments will focus on further refining the VISIT methodology and its operational kits. This includes continued enhancement of the IT tools for data acquisition and management, leading to the definition of supervision and intervention request strategies in a contextualized manner. The aim is to create a unique and innovative system that supports agencies like ANSFISA in their vigilance objectives, ultimately improving the safety and regularity of road traffic on the Italian network. Further research will also explore the integration of additional sensor technologies and advanced data analytics to provide even more robust and predictive insights into infrastructure health, ensuring a proactive and resilient approach to managing transport networks in seismic-prone regions.
