Biomass Boiler Setup The experimental platform was built around the small- scale 15 kW Lokca Úspor biomass boiler. It operates on A1 class wood pellets with a moisture content of approximately 17%. The boiler is equipped with a pellet tank, a mechanical screw feeder driven by a 90 W motor, and an 83 W combustion air fan. A complete water circuit includes a circulation pump, flow meter, and temperature probes for cold and hot water, with a heat exchanger simulating the thermal load. This provided realistic operating conditions for testing advanced control strategies.
