● According to the observation, overall, comparing all conditions for the random orientation, pits with a 1.76 aspect ratio demonstrate the highest SCF of 3.51 at horizontal attack type of pit., while spherical pits with an inline orientation and a 0.69 aspect ratio exhibit the lowest SCF of 2.87. Overall, as the aspect ratio increases, there is a corresponding increase in SCF across all pit shapes and orientations. ● It was observed that spherical pits exhibit a lower SCF compared to pits of different shapes, and inline orientations tend to have a higher SCF than random orientations, which indicates that different shapes of pits with inline orientation will initiate fracture more quickly, while spherical pits with random orientation will delay fracture initiation based on the elongation. 5.
