Vibration control through semi-active MR dampers In order to obtain the Optimized Controlled configuration (C3), 35 MR dampers are applied to the central frames of the Optimized Uncontrolled structure (C2), one per floor. Each floor is controlled by the damping force MR F m , with   1 35 m to  , as illustrated in Fig. 6.

Dynamic wind load The dynamic wind load is modeled according to the procedures presented previously. Tab. 3 presents a summary of the parameters used, in which 3 S is adopted considering the Serviceability Limit State, with a recurrence time of 10 years.
