To determine the optimized crack length, a MATLAB code was developed, allowing the initial crack length to be calculated such that the difference between the calculated and measured S-N curves is minimized. Additionally, the maximum fiber length was constrained to between 0.4 and 0.6 mm(Guster 2009).
