reinforcing phase and the mechanical properties of the Al-based composite obtained by casting was also shown. With an increase in the volume of reinforcement of the composite from 1 to 5%, embrittlement of the material does not occur. Studies of samples using X-ray phase analysis of an Al matrix composite showed the absence of an aluminum carbide phase. Despite the manifestation of additional mechanisms for hardening nanocomposites obtained by injection molding, the main one for Al matrix composites with a nanoscale carbide phase is the Orovan hardening mechanism. The research was financially supported by the Russian Science Foundation grant (project No. 20-11- 20083).
