Compression experiments in the temperature range from 300 to 500 °C were carried out on specimens with the diameter d 0 = 6 ± 0.05 mm and the height h 0 = 9 ± 0.05 mm. A graphite-based lubricant was used to reduce friction between the die and the specimen. The relation of the rheological behavior and the volume fraction of the dynamic recrystallization to the strain– strain-rate conditions of deformation is described with the application of a structural-phenomenological model of flow stress (Smirnov et. al., 2015).
