 the amplitude-frequency composition of the AE signal changes as the distance between the sensor and the AE source increases;  the high-frequency component of the signal at a distance of more than 2 meters practically disappears and only the low-frequency component remains;  as the distance from the AE source to the sensor increases, significant dispersion of the wave signal occurs;  for crack formation processes, it is possible to register and analyze AE signals at a distance of up to 4 m from the source. The results obtained in this work can be applied to the development and creation of systems for automatic monitoring of deformation processes in large-scale concrete structures using the AE method.
