process of hot upsetting, a multilevel model developed by the authors (Bezverkhy D. S. & Kondratev N. S. (in Print)) was successfully applied. During the work, the average grain size, average dislocation density, and final textures of the material were studied for different points of the workpiece. It is shown that the dynamic recrystallization process has a significant impact on the material characteristics; a significant change in grain size and defect density is observed. The material texture corresponds to the typical texture of uniaxial compression; depending on its position in the workpiece, it has some deviations from it.
