accuracy adopted by the authors is an indispensable element to ensure accurate and informed infrastructure management, significantly contributing to the safety and durability of the bridges on the examined road network.

7. Experimental testing campaign and degradation analysis The results of the experimental campaign conducted on the bridges of the road network have represented a fundamental contribution to understanding the structural conditions. The methodology adopted by BOLINA Engineering includes on-site tests on structural elements and the implementation of non-destructive and destructive tests. These tests provide valuable data on structural strength, material integrity, and the presence of any defects. The testing campaign was planned by the authors and conducted by a certified laboratory, in compliance with Article 59 of DPR 380/2001 (Republic Presidential Decree and updates) and the NTC2018 regulations. See Fig.6 an example of flatjack method applied on masonry structural components. This activity is crucial for identifying potential structural vulnerabilities, verifying compliance with regulatory standards, and defining customized maintenance strategies. The synergistic interaction between on-site investigations and laboratory analysis represents a comprehensive approach to obtaining a detailed insight into the state of infrastructure. The test reports resulting from this methodology provide a solid foundation for defining targeted interventions and continuously monitoring bridge conditions. Ultimately, this in-depth experimental campaign constitutes a significant step forward toward the long-term safety and durability of the examined road network.
