5. Conclusion The study of the interaction between bridges and landslides highlights the need for comprehensive geological assessments, taking advantage of modern spatial analysis tools to safeguard both infrastructure from damage and human lives. The presented case histories are located in south Italy, but this kind of phenomena area present in all the regions affected by landslide phenomena. It is particularly relevant to recognize these phenomena because they can cause severe damages to bridges as in the presented cases or as for Albiano-Magra bridge collapsed in 2020 (Farneti et al, 2022). The availability of technological instrument as 3d LiDAR surveys and the use of satellite-based interferometry made it possible to obtain quantitative information on these kinds of phenomena and on their effects on bridges.
