the practical application of the proposed approach to a case study bridge of the Italian road network. The results obtained highlight the feasibility of the proposed approach and its potential, which can be expanded by implementing additional analyses/algorithms to the framework as needed. By leveraging the proposed approach and the BridgeBIM Revit add-in application, bridge owners and managing authorities can easily analyze the results from risk and structural performance assessments to properly prioritize maintenance interventions, guide retrofitting activities, and determine the persistence of safe conditions for the infrastructure in the event of natural hazards, extreme loading conditions, and more.
