The results of deforming the pipe, restored through injection technology, have been obtained. It was observed that the maximum strain value at which cracks formed outside the restored concrete pipe was 4.92 mm. At the time of pipe failure, the maximum strain value reached 8.09 mm. The findings confirm that the use of injection technology, utilizing two-component epoxy materials, enables the restoration of the operability of defective pipes. Further investigation revealed that, during static testing of the pipe, new cracks formed outside the zone of bonded cracks. These cracks occurred parallel to the bonded cracks in the existing pipe material. © 2024 The Authors. Published by ELSEVIER B.V. Introduction Transport structures constitute a vital infrastructure component, facilitating seamless movement from one location to another. The paramount factor in guaranteeing the secure passage of vehicles lies in the technical integrity of transport structures situated along railway tracks and highways. (Kovalchuk et al., 2022a). One of the most massive transport structures on roads (about one pipe per kilometer) is pipes.
