4. Conclusions An experimental investigation of the fracture of three types of specimens was carried out: CT-0.5T, miniature CT-0.16T and side-grooved CT-0.5T compact specimens from steel 15Kh2NMFA cut in three mutually perpendicular directions. Features of crack evaluation were studied depending on the type of specimen and the direction of its cutting. Numerical simulations of CT-0.5T, CT-0.16T and side-grooved CT- 0.5T compact specimen’s tests were carried out using the extended finite element method.
