5. Welding should be performed on "soft" modes - without forcing and applying significant compression forces. 6. Heat treatment after welding. Summary modes with binding to the ASP-1600 welding machine are shown in table 5

7. Electrical part. Stabilization and control of the input voltage of the power supply network of the welding machine in order to eliminate the factors affecting the unstable voltage on the indicators of the welding current and heat treatment. It is proposed to solve the identified inconsistency and instability of the operation of the ASP-1600 device in the "Annealing" mode by setting the heat treatment (connection heating) regulator in manual mode - the operator visually monitors the degree of connection heating (from bright red to dark yellow) and provides the necessary cooling speed by turning the heating power regulator. 8. Mechanical part. The working surface of the clamping jaws must ensure full, uniform contact over the entire surface of the tape being welded. Periodically check the stability of the tape compression stroke and its value during welding. To ensure the constancy of the quality indicators of the welded joint, the course of compression of the tapes in the series should not differ. 9. Treatment of seams after welding. Hardness, inflows and reinforcements formed as a result of the formation of the weld seam are removed by an abrasive method. Overheating of the processing area is not allowed. Conclusions As a result of the research, the problems of ensuring uniform strength of welded joints during the production of band saws made of 65G steel were identified. Mathematical models have been developed to determine the optimal technological parameters of butt contact welding. The influence of annealing time, heating time and temperature coefficient on the quality of the weld was established, determined using methods of increasing the strength of the connection. Technical recommendations have been developed that will allow to reduce the probability of destruction to a minimum and increase the relative strength of welded joints.
