by 26.7 % and 34.1 % after exposure for GS and CS, respectively, while the primary damage phenomena for both structures were fibre breakage, delamination, core crushing, and core/face sheet bonding. The results from this study provide insight into the examination of the multiscale damage characterization of sandwich structures with foam cores exposed to seawater.
